Summary

Groundwork: Coffee Tycoon is a single-player coffee shop simulation and tycoon management game.

In the current version of the App, we:

• store gameplay progress, café layout, equipment upgrades, barista staff, currencies (cash, gems, reputation), and audio/gameplay settings locally on your device;
• show optional interstitial and rewarded ads through Google AdMob / the Google Mobile Ads SDK (such as for earning bonus rewards or speed-ups);
• allow you to open the relevant app store page if you choose to rate or review the App;
• do not require account creation or login;
• do not collect your contacts, photos, microphone input, camera input, or precise GPS location directly through the App.

Information We Process

1. Information stored locally on your device

The App stores game-related data on your device so the game can function properly offline and persist your progress. This may include:

• café grid layout and furniture/equipment placement;
• economy status, including cash, gems, and reputation level;
• unlocked tech tree items, recipes, and equipment upgrade tiers;
• hired barista staff roster, stats, and assignments;
• audio preferences (music and sound effects volume) and display settings;
• local gameplay statistics and offline progress metrics.

This information is stored locally using on-device app storage (shared_preferences and local storage).

2. Advertising and advertising-related data

The App may display interstitial ads and optional rewarded ads (such as for instant cash boosts, research speed-ups, or item rewards) through Google AdMob / the Google Mobile Ads SDK. Google and its advertising partners may process information needed to deliver, measure, secure, and improve advertising.

Depending on your platform, region, consent status, and device configuration, this may include:

• device and app information (e.g., device model, OS version);
• advertising identifiers (such as Google Advertising ID or IDFA) or similar device identifiers;
• IP address;
• approximate location derived from IP address;
• ad interactions, impressions, and reward-completion events;
• diagnostics, performance, and fraud-prevention signals.

3. Store review and external links

If you tap a rate or review button in the App, the App may open the relevant Google Play Store or Apple App Store listing. Any review text, ratings, or account information submitted there are handled directly by Google or Apple under their respective privacy policies.

How We Use Information

We use the information processed by the App to:

• save and restore your café layout, economy, and tycoon progression;
• apply your audio, display, and gameplay preferences;
• deliver, measure, and secure interstitial and rewarded ads;

What We Do Not Currently Do

Based on the current version of the App, we do not:

• require you to create an account or provide personal credentials;

• collect precise GPS location directly through the App;
• access your device contacts, photo library, camera, or microphone;
• provide public multiplayer, open chat, or automated social media posting features.

Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share limited technical and ad-related information with third-party service providers only as needed to operate the App's features, including:

• Google (Google Play / Google Mobile Ads / AdMob): for Android distribution, store reviews, and advertising delivery/measurement;

Data Retention

• Local gameplay data: Remains on your device until you delete it, clear app data through your device settings, or uninstall the App.

• choose whether to interact with or watch optional rewarded ads;
• reset in-game progress or settings by clearing the App's storage/cache through your device settings;
• uninstall the App at any time to remove all locally stored game data;
• manage app permissions and personalized advertising preferences via your device settings (e.g., Google Ads Settings on Android or App Tracking Transparency on iOS).

Children's Privacy

Groundwork: Coffee Tycoon is a general-audience game designed for players of all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under the age of 13 (or applicable age in your jurisdiction) through account registration or in-app forms. If you believe personal information has been provided to us inadvertently, please contact us so that we can promptly remove it.

International Processing

If advertising or app store features are utilized, relevant technical information may be processed on servers located outside your home country by third-party providers such as Google or Apple, subject to their respective privacy policies.
