DonePop ("the app") is a local-first daily planning and routine tracking app. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app processes, how that information is used, and your choices.

By using DonePop, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

Summary

• DonePop does not require an account.
• DonePop does not sell your personal data.
• DonePop does not use advertising SDKs.
• DonePop does not use analytics, crash reporting, or tracking tools.
• Your tasks, routines, categories, history, reminders, and preferences are stored locally on your device.
• If you choose to export a backup, the backup file is created only on the location you choose.

Information the App Processes

DonePop may process the following information that you enter or create inside the app:

• task titles
• notes
• categories
• due dates and times
• repeat schedules
• reminder settings
• completion history
• theme and language preferences
• home screen widget summary data

This information is stored locally on your device to make the app work.

Notifications

If you enable reminders, DonePop requests notification permission so it can show local task reminders on your device.

Notification content is generated from your task data and is processed locally on your device. DonePop does not send reminder data to the developer.

Home Screen Widgets

If you use the DonePop home screen widgets, the app stores limited summary data locally so the widget can show your progress and a short preview of pending tasks on your device.

Backup Export and Import

DonePop includes optional JSON backup export and import features.

• Export: the app creates a backup file only when you choose to export one.
• Import: the app reads a backup file only when you choose a file to import.

These files are handled locally through device file access that you explicitly initiate. The developer does not receive these files.

Time Zone Information

DonePop may read your device time zone so reminders can fire at the correct local time. This is used only for on-device scheduling.

Data Sharing

DonePop does not share your personal data with the developer or with third parties for advertising, analytics, or profiling.

The app does not sell personal data.

Data Retention

Your data remains on your device until you edit it, delete it, uninstall the app, or overwrite it by importing a backup.

If you export backup files, retention of those files depends on where you save them and how you manage them.

Children's Privacy

DonePop is not directed to children under 13, and the developer does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Security

DonePop uses local device storage to keep your app data available offline. No method of storage is completely risk-free, so you should protect your device and any exported backup files appropriately.

Your Choices

You can:

• disable or deny notification permission
• delete tasks, routines, history, or backups you created
• uninstall the app to remove app data stored in the app sandbox on your device, subject to device behavior

Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Updated versions will be posted with a new "Last updated" date.
